		<description>You are partly right.  In general, disc-origin pain tends to take longer to improve than facet joint-origin pain.  Also the character of disc pain is different: it&#039;s typically more of a sharp-shooting, tingling, numbness type of pain, where facet pain is more gnawing, deep and burning.</description>
